Privacy Policy
Isaac Goes Cruising (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, submit a quote request, or provide information in connection with a trip we are planning for you.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Contact and inquiry information: name, email address, phone number, and the details you provide in our quote request form — travel type, preferred dates, number of travelers, budget range, how you heard about us, and any message you include.
- Booking and traveler information: if you book a trip with us, we collect the details needed to complete your reservation through secure, private links we send you. This may include each traveler’s full legal name (as it appears on a passport or government-issued ID), date of birth, citizenship, mailing address, contact details, travel loyalty program numbers, and your travel insurance selections or written waiver if you decline coverage.
- Electronic signature records: when you sign our client Terms & Conditions electronically, we record your typed name and the date and time of signing.
- Usage data: browser type, IP address, pages visited, links clicked, and referral source, collected automatically via analytics and server logs.
We do not collect passport numbers or payment card details through this website. When you book a trip, payment card information is provided either through the secure payment system of WorldVia Travel Network (our host agency network) or by phone directly to us. Card details are held securely by WorldVia only long enough to process your booking payment with the cruise line or supplier, after which access to them expires. We do not store your card details on this website or its systems.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your quote request and provide travel planning services.
- To make and manage reservations with cruise lines and other travel suppliers on your behalf.
- To send confirmation emails, itineraries, documents, and other communications related to your inquiry or booking.
- To maintain records of signed Terms & Conditions agreements and insurance waivers.
- To send you occasional marketing emails, such as cruise deals and promotions (see Section 6 — you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To improve the website and our services.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only with:
- Cruise lines and travel suppliers as needed to obtain quotes and make bookings on your behalf.
- WorldVia Travel Network, our host agency network, whose secure payment system is used to collect and process payment card information for bookings.
- Service providers that operate our website and communications: Cloudflare (website hosting, security, and data storage), SendGrid (email delivery), and Google (analytics and fonts, described below).
- Legal authorities if required by law, subpoena, or court order.
4. Cookies & Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality and analytics purposes. Specifically:
- Google Analytics 4 — We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site (pages visited, time on site, link clicks, and form engagement). Google Analytics sets cookies on your device to collect this data. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Essential functionality — No login session cookies are set for general visitors. Private links we send you (for example, to sign documents or submit traveler details) contain a secure token in the link itself.
You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not function correctly.
5. Third-Party Services
Our website relies on the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:
- GitHub Pages & Cloudflare — Hosting, content delivery, and secure data storage. May log IP addresses and request metadata.
- Google Analytics — Website analytics. Data is processed by Google under their Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — Typography. Google may collect usage data when fonts are loaded.
- SendGrid — Transactional and marketing email delivery. Your email address is transmitted to send these messages.
6. Marketing Communications
If you have requested a quote or booked with us, we may send you occasional marketing emails such as cruise deals, promotions, and travel news. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may also opt out at any time by emailing us at booking@isaacgoescruising.com. Opting out of marketing does not affect emails we need to send about your own inquiry or booking.
7. Data Retention
We retain quote request submissions for as long as needed to serve your inquiry. Booking records, traveler information, signed agreements, and insurance waivers are retained for up to seven years after travel to satisfy tax, accounting, and legal requirements, after which they are deleted. You may contact us at any time to request earlier deletion of information we are not legally required to keep.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to receive a copy of it. To exercise these rights, contact us at booking@isaacgoescruising.com. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising their privacy rights.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from anyone under 13. When a trip includes minor travelers, their details (such as name and date of birth) are provided to us by a parent or guardian solely to complete the booking.
10. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), token-secured private links, and access controls on stored data. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
